SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainable viscose

Viscose is an artificial fiber of natural origin, deriving from the wood pulp of trees, and is biodegradable.

The one used in our Green B collection – even in its modal and lyocell variants – is particularly sustainable. Firstly, it comes from two suppliers that have distinguished themselves globally for their contribution to forest conservation, the use of new alternative fibers, and solid procurement, transparency and traceability policies. Thanks to them and the software they’ve made available to us, we can directly check the origin of our fabrics.

Furthermore, it is produced using production processes with low environmental impact: in the case of lyocell, for example, the fiber production takes place in a closed-cycle process, which allows for the recovery and reuse of over 99% of the solvent used and limits the use of water and waste in the environment.
